These Terms of Service govern access to our website and the directory advertising services we offer.

By accessing or using PizzaSurrey.com, visitors agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Restaurant owners and advertisers purchasing directory services also agree to the specific commercial terms disclosed during enrollment.

2. Nature of Our Directory Services

PizzaSurrey.com operates solely as an independent restaurant information, directory, and advertising platform.

We do not own, operate, manage, inspect, or supervise the restaurants listed on our website.

We do not prepare, sell, or deliver restaurant meals.

All listed restaurants operate independently and remain responsible for their food preparation, customer service, licensing, public health compliance, and business operations.

Directory inclusion does not constitute restaurant certification, endorsement, or a guarantee of food quality.

3. Free Access for Visitors

Visitors may browse publicly available restaurant listings, articles, and general directory information without paying membership or access fees.

Visitors may contact restaurants directly to inquire about menus, prices, delivery, takeaway, dining availability, and reservations.

Any food purchase or dining transaction is made independently between the customer and the restaurant or relevant ordering platform.

4. Eligibility for Restaurant Listings

We welcome listing applications from eligible pizza restaurants and related food service establishments serving Surrey, BC.

These may include:

Italian-style pizza restaurants

Vegetarian pizza restaurants

Participating businesses must comply with applicable licensing, food safety, consumer protection, and advertising requirements.

We may request reasonable verification of business information before publication.

5. Paid Directory Listings and Advertising

PizzaSurrey.com may offer paid directory listings, enhanced restaurant profiles, featured placements, and promotional advertising.

Depending on the selected package, features may include:

Dedicated restaurant profiles
Business descriptions
Restaurant addresses and telephone numbers
Website and online ordering links
Restaurant photographs and logos
Menu highlights
Pizza specialties
Delivery and takeaway information
Featured directory placements
Promotional advertising opportunities

Advertising fees, applicable taxes, subscription periods, and included features will be disclosed before enrollment.

Paid or sponsored placements will be clearly identified.

Advertising provides promotional visibility but does not guarantee customer inquiries, reservations, food orders, sales, or revenue.

6. Automatic Renewal of Paid Listings

Paid listing subscriptions may automatically renew only when the advertiser has expressly authorized recurring billing.

The recurring amount, billing frequency, subscription duration, renewal conditions, and cancellation procedure will be disclosed before enrollment.

Unless cancelled before the next renewal date, an authorized subscription will generally renew for the same duration at the agreed price.

Any proposed subscription price changes will be communicated in advance, and additional consent will be obtained where legally required.

Advertisers may cancel future automatic renewals at any time without cancellation penalties.

7. Flexible Cancellation Policy

We believe restaurant advertising arrangements should be fair, flexible, and transparent.

Participating restaurant owners may request cancellation of paid directory listings at any time.

There are no cancellation penalties.

Advertisers may request immediate removal of their listing or allow it to remain active until the end of the current prepaid subscription period.

Cancellation requests will be processed within a reasonable timeframe.

Cancellation of future billing does not automatically reverse charges for services already delivered.

8. Fair Prorated Refund Policy

For standard prepaid directory listing subscriptions:

Before Publication: A full refund is available if no advertising services have been delivered.

Within Seven Calendar Days of Publication: Advertisers may request a prorated refund for the unused portion of their subscription.

After Seven Calendar Days: Advertisers may request a prorated refund for unused full calendar days remaining in the prepaid advertising period.

Refunds will be calculated according to the unused portion of the agreed subscription term.

Separately priced custom promotional services already completed may be excluded where disclosed in advance and legally permitted.

Approved refunds will normally be processed within 15 calendar days.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory statutory refund rights.

9. Accuracy of Restaurant Information

Participating restaurants are responsible for ensuring that submitted information is accurate, current, and not misleading.

This includes:

Restaurant names and addresses
Telephone numbers
Websites and ordering links
Operating hours
Pizza varieties and specialties
Menu descriptions
Prices and promotions
Delivery and takeaway availability
Photographs and logos
Dietary and allergen information

Restaurants should promptly notify us of material changes.

We may correct or remove inaccurate information.

Visitors should verify restaurant details before ordering or visiting.

10. Food Safety and Regulatory Compliance

All participating restaurants remain independently responsible for complying with applicable food safety, public health, business licensing, and consumer protection requirements.

This includes appropriate food preparation, sanitation, storage, temperature control, and allergen management.

PizzaSurrey.com does not independently inspect restaurant kitchens, verify every permit, or certify food safety practices.

Customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions should contact restaurants directly before ordering.

11. Menus, Prices and Promotions

Restaurant menus, ingredients, prices, promotions, and availability may change without notice.

Prices displayed in directory listings may differ from current restaurant prices.

Participating restaurants are responsible for the accuracy of their promotional claims.

Customers should verify current prices, taxes, delivery charges, service fees, and promotional conditions directly with the restaurant.

12. Food Allergies and Dietary Requirements

Some restaurants may offer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, or other specialized menu options.

PizzaSurrey.com does not guarantee the suitability of any food item for a particular dietary or medical requirement.

Ingredients such as wheat, dairy, soy, nuts, sesame, and other allergens may be present in certain pizza products.

Cross-contact may occur during food preparation.

Customers with allergies, celiac disease, or other medically necessary dietary restrictions should communicate directly with restaurant staff before ordering.

13. Online Ordering, Delivery and Takeaway

15. Advertising Standards

All submitted advertising must be truthful, accurate, lawful, and not misleading.

Participating restaurants must not submit:

False business information
Misleading food descriptions
Deceptive pricing or promotions
False food safety certifications
Misleading halal, vegetarian, vegan, or allergen claims
Fabricated customer testimonials
Unauthorized photographs or trademarks
Unsubstantiated quality guarantees

We may request corrections, reject advertising, or remove content that does not meet these standards.

16. Reviews and Testimonials

Where restaurant reviews or testimonials are permitted, submissions must reflect genuine experiences and comply with applicable laws.

Fabricated reviews, impersonation, harassment, discriminatory content, and unlawful submissions are prohibited.

We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms.

We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of independently submitted customer opinions.

17. Intellectual Property

Original website content, branding, design, graphics, and other proprietary materials belong to PizzaSurrey.com or their respective owners.

Participating restaurants retain ownership of their submitted logos, photographs, menus, and promotional materials.

By submitting content for publication, advertisers grant PizzaSurrey.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, format, and promote those materials in connection with the agreed directory services.

Advertisers confirm that they possess the necessary rights and permissions to submit such content.

18. Privacy and Personal Information

We respect the privacy of visitors and participating restaurant owners.

Personal information collected through inquiries, listing applications, subscription transactions, and website functionality will be handled according to our published Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.

19. Cookies and Website Technologies

We do not guarantee food quality, delivery times, restaurant availability, customer satisfaction, advertising performance, or uninterrupted website access.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential commercial losses arising from ordinary directory use or service interruptions, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

23. Listing Suspension and Removal

We may suspend or remove listings containing materially inaccurate information, misleading claims, unlawful advertising, or serious violations of these Terms.

Where reasonably practical, participating restaurants will be given an opportunity to correct an issue before removal.

Immediate action may be taken where necessary to address significant legal, safety, or security concerns.

Any applicable refund will be determined according to these Terms and mandatory legal requirements.

24. Fair Dispute Resolution

We encourage visitors, restaurant owners, and advertisers to contact us directly with questions, concerns, or complaints.

Our preferred approach is respectful communication and good-faith resolution.

Nothing in these Terms prevents any individual or business from exercising statutory rights or pursuing available legal remedies.

25. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada.

Mandatory consumer protection, privacy, and other statutory rights remain unaffected.
